Before the London workshop with Valérie Jardin started I went back to Kings Cross to double check where we might visit if the weather forecast on the following day did not improve. Later in the morning I met up with Valérie and we did some exploring of places that were not on any of our planned routes.

Kings Cross St Pancras
I changed to the Piccadilly Line so that I should be arriving where we would all be arriving from Covent Garden.

After making sure I knew where the “Light Tunnel” was in relation to the walkways from the Underground I went up into Kings Cross station to the concourse.

The escalators after this shop went down to the Light Tunnel.

Baker Street
After meeting at Fujifilm’s shop we went to Baker Street.

I was using my manual lens and it was a disaster for my images, with just two that I was in anyway happy with – all operator error I might add…

Liverpool Street and Broadgate
We were not challenged by security at Broadgate much to my surprise. My lack of keepers continued at these tow locations.
Fashion Street and Brick Lane
After visiting Spitalfields Market we crossed Commercial Street to Fashion Street. I asked a group of visitors who were picnicking on the pavement to move aside so that I could take this image.

It is a collaboration between @wrdsmth and @c3.

And then onto Brick Lane…

I have a dedicated Street Art feed on Instagram here.
Bishopsgate

We walked down Bishopsgate and tried to go up to the viewing gallery at Horizon 22. Just our luck it was closed for a private event.

At Embankment I went onto Waterloo and my colleagues left for more exploring. The next day was the start of the London Workshop.
