The route of first day of the workshop had to be changed due to the rain and thankfully the weather for the second day was kind.
As my train pulled into Waterloo I was surprised to see an SWR train covered in graffiti.

Before I joined everyone at Charing Cross I made a quick visit to the arches of Leake Street to see the latest street art.
Meet at Charing Cross Station by the Eleanor Cross:
>> Down Villiers Street

LOW TIDE IS AT 10:33 SHOULD BE ABLE TO GO DOWN TO THE BEACH!

past the Globe and the Golden Hinde, and on towards London Bridge
From Clink Street, through the arches and into the mass of people at BOROUGH MARKET
AND/OR up onto London Bridge for opportunities around Shard Place and the steps to the station below]
Charing Cross
On the Underground…
Opposite Charing Cross I went for a coffee into the Social Bite cafe. Definitely a place I’d visit again rather than the corporate chains in future.

I watched several walking tours starting from the station while waiting for my colleagues. As a group we headed down Villiers Street before going up to the footbridges over the Thames.

Before the footbridges we waited for passers by to try and capture silhouettes as they walked towards through the passages.

South Bank
The skate park was not very busy but we were treated to an exhibition of bike riding right in front of us.

The weather was definitely kind to us. This is the view from the beach.

Blackfriars Bridge provided more opportunities for silhouettes.
Tate Modern
At Tate Modern we allowed ourselves extra time both the explore and to have lunch.

Millennium Bridge

After Tate Modern we headed over the footbridge towards St Paul’s.

Back to Covent Garden
St Bride’s Church’s famous tired steeple – the inspiration for tiered wedding cakes?
The Terrace Bar

From Covent Garden we into the Royal Opera House and went up into the Terrace Bar to end the workshop’s day.

The Strand
Back on the Strand I caught the No 139 bus back to Waterloo. Walking to the station’s main entrance I passed this street art.

The third and last day of the workshop started at Fujifilm HOP.
