This was my second London street photography workshop with Ovi Selaru. This was an early start from an empty Farnborough station. A combination of Summer holidays and a Friday also meant that the train was empty too.
Early in the Leake Street tunnel there was lots of interesting art there including this piece.
In the Sidings the work was progressing on the new Wetherspoons’ pub.
London Bridge
From the bridge I watched this boat go downstream.
We started the workshop at the Grind restaurant on the bridge.
Friday 9th August 2024: Street Photography Workshop
After breakfast we walked down Tooley Street…
… and then into More London Place by the large water feature.
The PWC building at the end of More London has an interesting profile against the sky.
More London Place was full of people enjoying the sunshine.
The City of London
After crossing Tower Bridge we stopped on Tower Hill before heading into the City.
Then it was coffee time at Starbucks on the Minories.
Along Cooper’s Row we stopped for silhouettes and reflections.
Into the City
To Bank
Down the steps of Bank underground station.
Barbican
Across the street from the Barbican we looked for reflections.
Waterloo
Then it was back to Waterloo.
Meal in the Brew Dog pub (expensive!!)
