On the 26th August I started my research into possible London street photography walking routes starting around Covent Garden. To start my day I went through the Sidings down to Leake Street to see the street art there.
The puddle at the entrance to the arches that I use for reflections was gone.
I caught the Underground to Charing Cross. My mistake was to catch the Bakerloo Line and had to walk for 100s of yards under the Strand back to the exits.
Jermyn Street
I was dodging the rain here.
Over Piccadilly I had a sad lunch in the cafe at the Royal Academy while I waited for the rain to ease.
Burlington Arcade
Bond Street
Vigo Street

The advertising hoardings had all changed to be covering ongoing building work.
Chinatown
Conduit Court
Covent Garden

Take your pick!
From Charing Cross this time I used the Northern Line back to Waterloo.
