Lunch at Governors
Sitting on the wall had had one advantage as we had seen a bar on the road parallel to Charlotte Street. The place looked very popular and was busy up on the roof area and outside on the patio. We found a table in the Sun and ordered some drinks.
It must’ve been the season for wasps and we will buzzed continually as we sat outside enjoying the sunshine.
Sobeys Supermarket in Sydney
We overheard our server giving directions to a supermarket and after our lunch we walked down to Prince Street and turned back towards Charlotte. We walked past empty or abandoned buildings and a disused railway line until we we came to a large parking lot.
Ahead of us was a Walmart and to our side was a Sobeys supermarket.
We just needed tonic water and resisted temptation to pick up chocolate or sweets. At the till I found a display with lots of hats and I picked up a replacement for my missing one.
On our way back we wandered along streets that ran parallel to Charlotte Street past a community centre.
These murals were on the walls of the theatre.
Once back on Charlotte Street I had a last opportunity to have a look at the cars and trucks on display.
