On Wednesday 3rd December 2025 we went to The Great Christmas Feast close to West Kensington station organised by The Lost Estate. This was a performance of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Travel back in time to Charles Dickens’ house and witness the moment ‘A Christmas Carol’ was born. A night of Victorian feasting, live music, and spellbinding theatre awaits…
Coffee time
Once we arrived at West Kensington we had time to walk down the street and have a coffee at Brioche Coffee.
The Great Christmas Feast
After a short time queueing outside we walked down a corridor with Dickens’ memorabilia.
Once through the door we were in the large space for the dinner.

The Feast menu
Our neighbours on the next table were in Victorian dress…

Around the space was huming in exptation and in front of us walking stick was on the small stage.
Our main course arrived..

Celebation and dancing for all of us
Then our desserts…

One actor, three musicians and audience participation – what an amazing performance.
The West End
We stopped at Green Park and walked through Mayfair to have a look at some of London’s Christmas lights.

We stopped briefly for a rest and a drink at Mister Nice in Mayfair.
