Enginuity
Before leaving the site we went to have a look inside Enginuity. There were school parties inside This Ironbridge museum was definitely not aimed at folks as old us. However, once inside we were fascinated by the exhibits!
We left the site and walked back down to Ironbridge

After lunch we set off to explore the pottery and tile museums.

Bedlam Furnaces
On the way back to the townhouse we stopped in the lay-by next to the Bedlam Furnaces. The painting on the information board gave us an idea what the place would have been like in the night with the furnaces going. I walked up and and around the top of the remains of the furnaces.
Dinner at The Water Rat Inn
We walked away from Ironbridge along Buildwas Road to The Water Rat Inn. We had phoned ahead and bookd a table. Our dinner was excellent.
