At the Bombardier I had agreed to meet a fellow member of Valérie Jardin’s workshop for a walk from Montmartre back to the 5th. After checking the Paris Metro I decided the easiest way to get there was to take a taxi.
Friday 24th January 2025: Montmartre
After our time walking around Montmartre we started to walk down. As I was taking pictures of the street art, especially this one from Gregos, we chatted to a French couple about the street art above us on the walls.
The Love Wall
At Abbesses Metro we experimented with images.
Despite the rain the Love wall was busy.
We then walked to Les Halles.

We sat in the glass covered extension not on for lunch but to watch the passers by.

Friday 24th January 2025: Notre Dame
The cathedral had been re-opened a few days before my visit to Paris.
While we were outside the cathedral colleagues from the workshop commented that they were inside after seeing our post.
Coffee
This cafe wasn’t too happy that all we had was a coffee – a big difference for 2 years ago when I visited before.
We were now in the 5th.
Friday 24th January 2025: Evening
Dinner was in my favourite place on Rue Soufflot. At least this visit it hadn’t re-imagined itself and so I could gave IPA and a pizza.
And after preparing for the start of the workshop, one more image of the Pantheon from my room.
The Paris workshop with Valérie Jardin started the next day.
