Jessy J at the Pizza Express Jazz Club

The Jazz club is below the Pizza Express restaurant down a circular staircase. No tickets needed just your name and then we were taken to our designated table.

The tables are ‘allocated’ according to order of booking. But despite being SECOND couple on the list we were not front and centre but were stage right and one table back…

We were early for the show but now we had time to have our pizzas. This was not easy as the tables are quite small and close together.
Our table may not have been the best but everyone going on stage had to squeeze past us and chat! I asked for a photo of the set list but instead was promised the copy at the end of the show.
There was a break in the show.

This was my opportunity to have a chat and a photo!
I realised that I should have not brought my new camera and stuck with my R5. I had been worried of running into hassles like I had in Reading in bringing a ‘pro’ camera into the venue. Plus enjoying the music I had not moved to take head-on pictures of the stage, definitely next time…

After the encore as the house lights came on, I was presented with with the set list by the bass guitarist and here is my signed copy

Jessy was still chatting to guests as we left the club.

Waterloo
While we waited for our train I went up to the mezzanine to have a look at the concourse at 10:15 pm.
