During this trip into London I visited the Leake Street tunnel , had my first visit for a long time to Brick Lane, then the Kings Road and finally walked back along the South Bank to Waterloo station.

Leake Street was empty as I was there at around 7:45 am.

The Sidings
I went for breakfast at the Weatherspoons in The Sidings – great value!
Brick Lane
I was lucky as I managed to catch a Circle Line train at Westminster that went to Liverpool Street – saving me having to walk from Monument.

London’s Kings Road
I had walked to the opposite end of Brick Lane and went on a roundabout route to Monument station. Once there I caught a District Line train to Sloane Square. The Chelsea Flower Show was on and I had not anticipated just how busy the tube station and the Kings Road would be.

The Duke of York Square was busier than the Kings Road and rather than stay with the crowds I headed back to the tube station.
The South Bank
I skipped Westminster and carried on to Blackfriars and walked over the bridge to the South Bank.
I walked back to the Millennium Bridge.
The skate park was my last stop.
