On Saturday 21st June 2025, the plan was to join David’s workshop in Trafalgar Square in the morning. After arriving at Waterloo my day in London started in the Leake Street arches. Breakfast was at the Lion and Unicorn in Waterloo’s Sidings.

None of us had realised that Trafalgar Square was being used for a free concert of West End musicals and was cordoned off.

To add to the fun the steps of St Martins-in-the-Fields were cleared, so no waiting there. Our re-arranged meeting place was outside Charing Cross station.

There will be a Gregg’s somewhere along the route…

We used the Blackfriars station platform to cross over to the South Bank. Past Blackfriars Bridge this punk band were the best buskers I have seen in a long time. I probably spent too much time listening to them rather concentrating on the workshop.
