After our rest day yesterday a couple of us set off for Seahouses to catch the local boat out to the Farne Islands.
Day 4: Monday 12th May 2025: Seahouses, Northumberland
Seahouses was not very busy compared to when we had been here over the weekend.
12th May 2025: Farne Islands, Northumberland
At the Serenity Tours hut we received our boarding passes and waited to be taken down the pier to the boat.
Then we were amongst the Farne Islands.
Inner Farne
Then we docked at Inner Farne. Here we could explore the island and look for puffins.
This puffin was just emerging from the the nest.
The Arctic Terns didn’t bother as I walked past.

Our boat was waiting for us to board when our time on Inner Farne was up.
Coming back into Seahouses’ harbour this heron was watching as we passed.
Back at Bamburgh I enjoyed another of the alcohol free beers.
Tomorrow we planned to go to Alnwick and Caster.
