On our way to RAF Conningsby we left the A46 to have a look at the erected Lancaster memorial to Bomber Command. The memorial was erected but the site was not yet open.

This was as close as we could get until the site is officially open.
We re-joined the A46 and headed off for our three days of watching RAF Typhoons at Conningsby.
