Afternoon Thursday 28th April 2022
Two of us left Ironbridge and went to visit the RAF Museum at Cosford. I particularly wanted to go to see the Chinook, Bravo November, that had survived the Falklands and then every war since.
Then we came to Bravo November.
Ironbridge in the evening
Back from Cosford we walked into Ironbridge to the Bridge Hotel to meet with the others. After we had eaten in the townhouse we returned to the bridge to see it again lit up at night.

After our friends had left for home, we decided on one more visit in the gorger. Outside of Ironbridge we followed Buildwas Road until we came to the junction with Much Wenlock Road. We turned off and followed the signs for Buildwas Abbey. We were early at just after 9:15 am and the car park was empty. This was an English Heritage site and as non-members we paid £2 for parking. There were no gates and the bookshop by the fence was closed.
This was a newly restored part of the abbey.
We then left to visit family in Birmingham on our way home.
