On Thursday 30th October one of my images was chosen as one of the entries to the Inter Club competition between Farnborough CC and the partnered German club in Photo-Cirkel Oberursel.
The judge awarded 8.5 points.
Time for a Coke
In the American Diner of the Pit Stop B&B, Kacie Belle posed with a bottle of Coke.
… I do like the connection that we get with this girl, she is looking straight at the camera
… eyes beautifully sharp, lovely skin tones
… I get a real feel of a connection with her and the expression that she is giving us
… if I look further around the picture I am not so keen on the Coke bottle, I think that this spoils the image, there is writing in there
… the arm and hand in front of her body and face tends to give quite a closed feel to the picture
… and that closed feel stops us from getting more of a connection with her
… I do quite like being able to see the context of the picture but I think in this case the black and white tiles in the background are little too noticeable, I think you could have thrown these a little bit more out of focus
… we are getting some nice detail in her hair, falling over her shoulders
… so overall I like the way that she is looking out at us and I think that that has been well taken
