On the 13th October we had tickets to see a revival of Noel Coward’s Hay Fever at Wyndham’s Theatre on the Charing Cross Road.
Street Art on Leake Street
I had a spare 20 minutes to have a quick walk through the Sidings to Leake Street.

In the side alley one by @abraham.o1 had a few tags…

Here’s a link to my dedicated Street Art feed on Instagram.

Then back through the Sidings. Another opportunity to use the staring dog poster.
Zedel Brasserie
This visit to Zedels I had booked a table. The fixed price two course menu of Steak haché plus dessert was excellent. Plus Meteor zero alcohol IPA.
The service was just as before very quick and friendly so that we had plenty of time to walk across Leicester Square to the theatre.
Wyndham’s Theatre – Hay Fever
The main attractions for us for this play were Christine Baranski as Judith Bliss and Richard E. Grant as David Bliss.
This may be one of Noel Coward’s beloved plays but for us this was our first exposure to the 1920s farce and satirical comedy. After we purchased the tickets we discovered that one of the seats (mine!) was “reduced”.
A minority of the audience clearly knew the play and were laughing at some of the nuanced lines while the rest of us were trying to hear the lines themselves. Baranski stole the play and her over the top performance was the highlight for us.
The Underground is literally next door to the theatre and we were in plenty of time at Waterloo for the 10:08 train to Farnborough.
