After Santa Cruz on the island of La Palma, Azura sailed overnight to Puerto del Rosario on Fuerteventura.
Day 14: 16th November 2023: The Canaries: Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura
The islands are close together in the Canaries, the Captain suggested we should watch as we sailed by on our way into Puerto del Rosario.
After another late breakfast we left Azura to walk into the centre of the port.
In the shopping mall we stopped for a rest and a welcome drink!
We walked out of the town before turning back towards the sea and the barracks.
Opposite the gardens and paths by the port we could see this large collection of murals.

After our morning in the town we returned to Azura.
Leaving Fuerteventura
We ate in the Beach House – tacos!
A slow overnight transit took us back to Santa Cruz de Tenerife for the last time.
