Today I received notification that my application for Projected Image Division Color Award of Merit – Star 1 had been accepted by the PSA.

For this award of merit I had to have received at least 18 acceptances from at least 6 images. From my list of submitted salon acceptances 33 were verified by the PSA.
Images for the Merit Award
Dancing Lily- 5 acceptances

Fountain in the sunshine – 1 acceptances

Last flight together – 18 acceptances

Late night conversations – 2 acceptances

Looking through the shutter – 5 acceptances

Whitby in the evening – 2 acceptances

Comment on the award
In the returned spreadsheet I was discovered that I had inadvertently duplicated one acceptance.
The last image, Whitby in the evening, had already been part of my PTDD(*1) award.
Please see my separate post about applying for PSA Merit Awards. (Not available yet)
Dedication
I would like to dedicate this award (and all my subsequent PSA awards) to my departed friend and colleague from Bracknell Camera Club – Ron Gaffney LRPS CPAGB PSA(*4) BPE2. From the very first weeks of joining the club, Ron had encouraged my photography of aircraft and shared his experiences. In that first year I attended a club workshop where he laid out how to enter international salons and the importance of record keeping. Over the next years, I joined him entering international salons and we shared our successes as well as mutual encouragement.
Ron would have been one of the first people that I would have told about this award and sadly his encouragement and support has now to be only a memory.
