This was our third and last visit to Richmond Park for the 2025 deer rut. Our last visit had been on Saturday the 27th September. We parked in the Pembroke Lodge car park and headed out towards Pen Ponds.
It was a glorious morning with a great sky and some morning mist.
The sun was rising as we reached the ponds.
Then it was time for breakfast at the Pen Ponds cafe and watch the passers by.
This group were exercising in the park…
And was that for the 2025 deer rut – better luck next year?
