This was my last visit to Richmond Park to try and see the rut in 2023
On my third visit to Richmond Park the rut had started but had yet to reach the intensity that I had seen in previous years.
Another unsuccessful visit to Richmond Park – no deer rut
It is now September and this was my first pilgrimage to Richmond Park hoping to see the deer rut
For the third round I submitted a re-worked image of a stag in silhouette. This was the Digital Image League at Bracknell Camera Club was again an open round.
The second round the PDI Trophy Competition at Farnborough Camera Club in the 2021-22 season and this was an open round with two images.
Another early start today to go again to Richmond Park to see the deer rut.
We visited a private deer park near Henley-on-Thames before walking into Henley for breakfast and then walking back along the Thames footpath to where our cars were parked in Aston.
A Sunday visit to Richmond Great Park didn’t get us any outstanding pictures of the deer rut.
This evening was the third round of the Internal PDI League and was an open round and I had an image entered for just comment.
This was my first visit to the Long Walk in Windsor Great Park and we were lucky enough to see a sunrise and the local deer rut.
