I was on the up escalator as these ladies were in their way down. This was a grabbed image on my smartphone and was one I used as an entry for an RPRS workshop to demonstrate all processing on a smartphone. Definitely experimental.

Summary of judge’s comments
… so they are engaged in a conversation, talking to each other, a black and white picture, and it has been made to look like a bit of a film []
… it is a little bit flat, would like there to be more focus on the [two] faces and be able see more of her face [figure on the left]so that I can see that engagement
… the intent of the engagement is therefrom their body shape []
… and I would lihe her to be a little sharper [figure on the right]
Still on time
We were watching one of the Ironman competitions in Copenhagen and the runners were streaming past. Another rather experimental image with nothing in focus.

Summary of judge’s comments
… the point of this picture is the one running guy, I don’t know why he is keeping track [of the time] as there is nobody else in it, so it is just him running
… [] I would like him to be sharp and I would like there to be motion blur in the background , unfortunately there is motion blur in the background and the runner
… and I would like him to be a little bit sharper – [] want places to look at in a picture and ideally sharp places
… look at him and then everything is the same sort of blurriness []
… think you have gone too far to fix in post processing
… shame he is out of focus
