This visit to Christmas at Kew Gardens was yet another event postponed from 2020 but was well worth the wait . . .
My first visit to Old Warden to see some of the Shuttleworth Collection was so I could finally see some of the classic aircraft that I had read about in my childhood.
The long exposures and light trails workshop took me to new places in London as well as more familiar ones.
Attending this mini-workshop was spur of moment decision It was based around the work of Helen Levitt and started in the exhibition running at The Photographers’ Gallery. The workshop was organised by Polly at The Department of Street Photography.
After an overnight stop in Yorkshire we arrived in Bamburgh and in the evening had the first photo shoot of the tour on the beach taking images of the castle with reflections.
Another early start today to go again to Richmond Park to see the deer rut.
We visited a private deer park near Henley-on-Thames before walking into Henley for breakfast and then walking back along the Thames footpath to where our cars were parked in Aston.
A Sunday visit to Richmond Great Park didn’t get us any outstanding pictures of the deer rut.
The Creative Photography Workshop with Vehbi Koca finally happened after being postponed because of the lockdowns.
