Yesterday we had had more bad promised bad weather and it duly arrived. Overnight we skipped the first three scheduled ports of the day, Ålesund, Torvik and Måløy. This was our last day and at Bergen we left for the airport to fly home.
Ålesund – arrive at 12:30am
Torvik – arrive at 2:35am
Måløy – arrive at 5:45am
Florø – arrive at 8:15am
Florø was the last port before we reached the end of the Coastal Voyage in Bergen.
Along the coast to Bergen
Bergen – arrive at 2:45am
Then we were leaving MS Nordkapp. To avoid to much of a crush we left the ship by deck.
Then we were in the Hurtigruten terminal and below in the car park were the coaches and taxis.
The coach ride back to the airport was an anti climax (for images) as we left the Hurtigruten terminal there were no stops just roads!
Flight to London Gatwick
In the airport we had immigration after security to get passports stamped then we had to wait for our plane.
Our pickup was OK and best of all my wallet was waiting for me at home. The kind Norwegian had posted it back (and cut up my cards) as requested.
