After my earlier successful visit to Leake Street I caught the Underground to Liverpool Street and then onto the May Colour Walk.
Stolen Space Gallery
To get to the gallery on Osborn Street I walked a different route to Brick Lane via Aldgate East station. I passed the Cnihtengild statue, also known as the Knight of Devonshire Square.

The Stolen Space gallery was exhibiting “Urban Perspectives: A Group Show”. In this exhibition were a number of pieces by Dan Kitchener and was my reason for the detour.
Sadly all the pieces were way out of my price range…

Fashion Street

Old Spitalfields Market
Lunch was next on my to do list and I headed into the market to my favourite London bagel place – Dirty Bagels.
The bagel was so full of pulled pork and cheese that I had to resort to the supplied small wooden fork – a truly delicious lunch!
The May 2026 Colour Walk
I was at 20 minutes early before everyone gathered at 1 pm. I joined the groups of drably dressed photographers (!) and waited.

Before Broadgate…

Towards Monument station…
On the Underground, two well behaved dogs…

And yet again SWR had delayed trains from Waterloo.
