In the afternoon of our second day out from Ushuaia in Drake Passage we reached Antarctica and saw our first icebergs, whales, penguins and seals.

Our expedition voyage on Hurtigruten’s MS Fram would take us from Ushuaia to Antarctica around the Falklands and to South Georgia and onto Montevideo on Day 1 we had to fly from Gatwick to Madrid on Wednesday 22nd February.
