This was the first of two days of street photography with Paul Reid in London. this first day we would meet in central London and make our way into Soho and then Chinatown. I planned an early start and caught the 7:15 am train from Farnborough.

Leake Street and the Sidings
This early in the morning the tunnel was empty.
Here are all the images of art that I took in the morning. Then I had a “small” breakfast at the Lion and Unicorn before heading off to Piccadilly.
Piccadilly
In the station…

I visited a few familiar places.
Plus “the” spot for long exposure of a bus- this time a van…

St James’s

Once we were all together we headed off down into St James’s down Regent street and went downstairs in Costa Coffee for a briefing.

On the corner of Regent Street and Piccadilly …
Central Cafe … (again for me!) Long exposure of passers by plus watching a smoker around the corner.
This photographer kindly posed for me.

Soho
Then it was time to walk to Soho…
Up through the Berwick Street Market…n
Margarita

Paul introduced us to Margarita. In one of the alleyways near Berwick Street was where Margarita posed for us.

The alleye was busy with tourists. Some were curious about what was happening and others checked their phones…

On the side of the door to a framing shop.

Lunch at My Place

At the top of Berwick street is My Place.
Soho
After lunch we walked back down Berwick Street and headed for Chinatown.

Chinatown

The second day would start off Brick Lane with about half the number of atendees.
