Our cruise on Spirit of Adventure started from Southampton and we had two full sea days until we reached our first port

After leaving Portsmouth we had three days on Spirit of Discovery as we sailed South to the Mediterranean
July 2023: Europe and Iceland: Greenock, Scotland
This was our visit to Greenock. Away from the centre we had a memorable walk along the Esplanade
July 2023: Europe and Iceland: Reykjavik, Iceland
We walked around Reykjavik followed by a couple of (lost) sea days when I had an upset stomach after the evening meal
July 2023: Europe and Iceland: Grundarfjordur, Iceland
We went on a private tour of the Snæfellsnes peninsular from Grundarfjordur and visited ten different locations – one heck of a busy day
July 2023: Europe and Iceland: Akureyri, Iceland
In Akureyri we went on a tour to the Goðafoss waterfall and saw our first whale as we left.
July 2023: Europe and Iceland: Lerwick, Shetland
Lerwick started out wet, we did lots of walking there. Later we missed the first port in Iceland due to high winds.
November 2023: Santa Cruz de Tenerife and then Gatwick
We took an excursion rather than stay on Azura and then go early to the airport for our flight back to Gatwick
November 2023: The Canaries: Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura
We had an uneventful walk around Puerto del Rosario – perhaps we should have booked an excursion here on Fuerteventura!
November 2023: The Canaries: Santa Cruz de La Palma
